French Polynesia
I jump off this year's adventure in World Famous Tahiti. Landing in Papeete - the capital of this French 'overseas' collective. A collection of 118 islands spread over 1200k of the South Pacific.

Taking island hopper flights with Air Tahiti to Rangoria, Bora Bora and Fakarava. And; taking a Ferry to Moorea and back. Well -- thats 5 French Polynesian islands; only 113 to go. HeHeHe!!

I dive all these island and more. The Tuamotu atolls adventure alone was epic, A 11 day live aboard chasing sharks, dolphins and crazy amazing current in the passes.

New Zealand
My third visit to New Zealand - This place is a magnet for me, I just love everything about this corner of the planet.
Starting in the Northland; diving Poor Knights Islands. Driving on the left; remembering to pay my bill at the bar; self-serve water at all the resturants. Great food, friendly people..

Explored the Northland; 90 mile Beach, Cape Reinga, Surfed the sand dunes. What an adventure.

Back to Tongariro and its tracks. I survived the famous Crossing - incredible alpine hiking and enjoyed the Chateau Tongariro. This is my favorite part of NZ.

I stopped by Hawks Bay for a quick look at their vineyards, but spent the next week mostly in Wellington with great friends. Going to Rugby matches, plays, dragon boat races and a hundred more amazing experiences here. This is the most livable city in the world. Wow.. If it was a-bit warmer..it would have everything!!
New Caladonia
As I arrive, the first thing that shocks me - Is how prosperous the island is. The roads are amazing - a 4 lane highway into Noumea - the capital. Tons of orgainized hotels, a well kept port - all the shipping contains properly stacked.
New Caledonia has Nickel - 25% of the worlds. That has translated to $38k/capita - and a robust economy. Who knew?
I dive their massive Barrier reef, and explore Noumea. So much to discover there - yet difficult to plan - only 100k tourist per/year. Mostly all French and Japanese. Most without a web presence - not sure why.
I travel to Ile des pins - a remote out island of New Caledonia. The diving was insanely amazing!!! But.. my holiday here is being cut short my world Chaos - yes even here Conrona has spread fear. I am asked to leave...so I work on flights. Not sure of what is to come. The adventure continues.
Florida Road Trip(s) - USA
Classic Florida Road Trips. The Corona Lockdown of 2020 eased a-bit, and Diving opened again. So, WPB and the Keys offered a wonderful adventure. Plenty of great diving, and ton's of memories. I've taken two big road trips to the Keys so-far, hoping for another one soon.

Florida is a fantastic place to live and call home !!! World Travel is addictive, but its nice to have a backyard like the Keys.

Tanzania and Zanzibar
Tanzania Adventure. Wow, How lucky I am to go to Africa again. Corona chaos makes travel almost impossible. But Tanzania is open. Three weeks exploring this huge country. A few days in Dar es Salaam that was absolutely authentic Africa. A short Safari in Selous packed with Wildlife, and two week in Zanzibar diving. Tons of pictures...but plenty to explore on another visit.
Roatan, Honduras
Roatan, Honduras is a diver-famous destination for a long-while. So finally, I put this Central American Country on my Adventure list. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the Mainland of Honduras and so my experience's here are tiny. But my diving and tours of island of Roatan were a fantastic escape, and a great introduction to Honduras.
This dive Mecca is on the Caribbean side of Honduras. A little colder then I expected, Summer still not there yet in March,2021. Roatan is a great mix of ocean and land entertainment, filling a holiday. A beautiful tropical island.
